Bungalow Artwork

So here in Olympiadorf, where I reside in my bungalow, students can paint the concrete on the outside of their bungalow. There are 800 bungalows and I decided, since it was a warm sunny day, to walk up and down each row and photograph the painted bungalows. I have to say, I felt like a "creeper." I got a "hallo" from someone living in the bungalow I was photographing and then lots of people just kind of watching me. I decided it didn't matter because I am making memories. Some of the bungalows are very cool and creative, some are strange, and some are simple. BUT I thought you might enjoy a little artwork today.

Here are my top 14 (I had trouble narrowing it down any further)...

This one is my neighbor. I like to think of it as 'Alice in Wonderland.'

Just a simple polka dot face, but I like it.

Can you say, "Jungle Story?"

This is one of my top two.

This is my other top 2.

This has great detail in the 'cracked' columns.

A simple Bavarian bungalow.

There are lots of Simpson painted bungalows. This is my favorite of them all.

Just like the geometry of it.

I couldn't paint that.

It reminds me of home...

This is for all you Beatles fans. And I think it's a pretty great paint job too!

I'm sure one day almost all of the bungalows will be painted. Since the bungalows are still less than a year old. Hope you enjoyed what I get to look at every day.

Ciao!
